Reminder about Tuesday’s Class (11/25)

Hello All,

This is a reminder that we DO HAVE CLASS ON TUESDAY 11/25 and EVERYONE DOES NEED TO COME TO CLASS.

Tomorrow (Tuesday 11/25) I will be doing student conferences.  That means that each of you will sit down with me for a couple of minutes and I will tell you how you are doing in the class, if you are passing or not and, if you are not passing, what you need to do to pass the course by the end of the semester.  You can also ask me any questions you have about the class or BMCC in general.

YOU CAN ARRIVE ANY TIME DURING OUR CLASS PERIOD (2:00 – 3:40).  I expect to take 5-10 minutes to talk to each student.  After you talk to me, you will sign in for the day and can leave.

I WILL BE COLLECTING JOURNALS NEXT WEEK – HANG ON TO THEM FOR NOW.  I realized that if I collect your journals tomorrow, I will have to keep them over the Thanksgiving weekend and you won’t have a chance to write in them.  So just write another entry this week and I’ll collect them NEXT week.

See you all tomorrow,

Prof. Jaime Weida

🙂

PS: I wasn’t sick today; my sister had a doctor’s appointment for the baby (Courtney wanted to get Imogen checked out before bringing her to a large Thanksgiving gathering) and her husband got unexpectedly called into work.  Therefore, she needed help getting the baby to the doctor’s office.  I know I’ve cancelled class more than I meant to this semester and I will run some optional extra class sessions before the end of the semester to try to make up the time we’ve missed!  🙂
